The WFK IT Volunteers organize ICT education and relevant projects for partner countries that have insufficient ICT infrastructure, contributing to eliminating the global digital divide and helping Korean ICT talents develop global capabilities.

Recruitment Overview

Once a year (during summer vacation, April–June)
Team Composition
4 people per team
Requirements
  • Korean citizens aged 18 or older (no age limit for university students) Not disqualified under Article 33 Mentally and physically fit for overseas volunteer work No profit or missionary intent Possesses ICT skills and foreign language communication ability Teams of two or more capable of providing ICT education
Entitlement
  • Airfare: Round-trip ticket, visa fees, excess baggage, airport taxes Expenses: Team volunteer funds (KRW 500,000) and living expenses (approx. KRW 900,000 per person for 4 weeks) Safety: Vaccinations, emergency medical support, travel insurance Supplies: Backpack, uniforms, hats, banners IT equipment
