Programs Overview

The WFK Korean Government-sponsored Volunteer Teachers Program aims to improve the level of basic education in partner countries by sending outstanding Korean teachers to local educational institutions in partner countries.

Requirements
  • Holders of a Level-2 teaching certificate or higher Current university faculty (Including assistant professors) Able to teach in English and the local language Fit for overseas volunteer work Meet common requirements and partner-country qualifications Military service completed or exempt No disqualifications under paper 33
Entitlement
  • Local allowance and support funds Round-trip airfare Visa issuance fees Overseas safety services and insurance (pre-departure training and 24/7 emergency support) Health checkup and vaccination costs Local support personnel.
